His clients range from stay-at-home parents to nurses to teachers to CEOs and he understands how great an impact their case can have on the rest of their lives.
Education is one of the biggest pieces of Brian’s practice. He meets with each client and discusses the details of their case and learns what his client’s goals and fears are. From here, he tailors his approach to each case to focus on each goal and ease any fears through understanding and education. Brian will tell you that the most common fear and the cause of most of the stress is the unknown associated with family law. By familiarizing each client with the process and their options, he helps his clients to move toward a solution that works for them and their family. Because this is the only area of law in which he practices, Brian’s familiarity with the various courts in which he practices is an invaluable resource and a significant advantage when trying a case.
Brian’s dedication to family law is evidenced by his Family Law Specialist Certification by the Ohio State Bar Association, one of approximately 125 such attorneys listed as a OSBA Certified Specialist in Family Relations Law. In addition, he is a member of the Dayton Bar Association and Ohio State Bar Association Family Law committees. He speaks frequently on family law topics at various organizations throughout the Miami Valley and has presented at multiple continuing education events for other attorneys. He has successfully appealed family law cases involving several different issues over the years.
Brian currently resides in the Springboro, Ohio area with his family where he is actively involved in the community.
